“This process has allowed me to refine my teaching practice in ways I never anticipated and I find myself even closer to my class and the playground injuries have become almost nonexistent. I am a stronger, more engaged teacher than I was when I began this and I know that I’m still learning and growing.” -Head Start Teacher

Adult video reflection is a foundational practice in the Anji Play approach, and powerful tool for any educator who wishes to gain deeper understanding of play, learning, child development, and educator growth.

Over three sessions* facilitated by master Anji Educator Jesse Coffino, participants will be introduced to facilitated video reflection practices developed over the last decade by educators in Anji County and across the globe.

Focused on the value of True Play and adult reflection, this program introduces participants to a simple yet powerful protocol for continual professional learning and growth.

  • Session 1: Introduction to True Play and Adult Reflection

  • Sessions 2 and 3: Facilitated Video Reflection

Participants should bring an open mind, curiosity, and the intention to discover more about children and their play through sharing and reflection.

Videos will be provided by the facilitator.
