Anji Play is the internationally recognized philosophy and approach to early learning developed and refined over the past 18 years by educator Cheng Xueqin.

Anji Play redefines the relationship between learners and systems of learning through reflective systems founded on the discovery of the true capacity of the learner.

Today, Anji Play is the curriculum of the 130 public kindergartens in Anji County, China that serve more than 14,000 children from ages 3 to 6, and of pilot programs throughout China and the world.

Through specific practices, free and open indoor and outdoor environments, designed and found materials, a reflection-centered use of technology, and a philosophy that views each child and teacher as a highly capable discoverer of knowledge, the Anji Play ecology of learning has established itself as a new global standard for early childhood education, and continues to redefine understandings of learning, cognitive development, architecture and design

Anji Play returns the right of self-determined True Play to children and communities in environments defined by Love, Risk, Joy, Engagement, Reflection.
